GMAT Scoring Isn't About Getting Everything Right: Why Top Scorers Skip [7/28/2026] (Recording)

GMAT Scoring Isn't About Getting Everything Right: Why Top Scorers Skip [7/28/2026] (Recording)

60-minute Leland Event | Live with Q&A | Hosted by Josh P. Somewhere in your last mock, one question ate four minutes of your life. You knew you should let it go. You didn't — because walking away feels like giving points back. Here's what the scoring algorithm knows that you don't: your GMAT score isn't a count of right answers. The GMAT is adaptive. Every right answer pushes you toward harder questions; every wrong answer pulls you back toward easier ones. Your score isn't how many you got — it's the difficulty level you can hold. That flips two things most test-takers get backwards: a wrong answer at the top of your range isn't failure, it's evidence you're playing at your ceiling. And the four minutes you sink into one unwinnable question quietly costs you two or three winnable ones. (On the GMAT you can't leave a question blank — "skipping" means deciding fast, picking, and banking the time. That decision is a trainable skill.) In this 60-minute session, I'll put the scoring engine on screen — the same scoring model I coach my 1:1 students on Leland with — and then we'll train the skill live: real problems, you vote "fight or fold" in the chat, and we run the skip decision together. You'll learn: - How the adaptive algorithm actually sets your score — and why "answer everything right" is the wrong goal - The GMAT Potential map: why wrong answers at your edge mean you're exactly where you should be - The real cost of over-investing in one hard question (it's never just one question) - A two-question skip rule you can apply on your very next practice set Whether you're four weeks in or staring down a retake — if the clock beats you before the content does, this session is for you. Bring your questions: the last 15 minutes are open Q&A. Josh P. — GMAT Coach on Leland · Top 3 · 5.0★ · Booth MBA · Ex-BCG

Build a Lead Qualification Agent That Finds Your Best Prospects

Build a Lead Qualification Agent That Finds Your Best Prospects

SESSION GUIDE: https://www.lelandcourses.com/ai-builder/build-a-lead-qualification-agent/ Most cold outbound starts with a list. Someone bought it. It's stale. Half the people on it were never a fit to begin with. Then a rep spends hours writing emails to the wrong people and wonders why nothing converts. In this exclusive AI Builder session, Robin van Veen will walk you step by step through building a lead qualification agent in Claude Code that skips the list entirely. You describe your ideal customer in plain language. The agent finds real, named prospects who match, scores each one against your criteria, researches them on the open web, and drafts a personalized first-touch email for the ones worth your time. Schedule it to run weekly, and a fresh batch of qualified leads lands in your inbox every Monday morning without you doing a thing. The real takeaway is the skill underneath: how to turn "I'd know them if I saw them" into a system that finds, scores, and writes the kind of outreach that doesn't sound like a template. Once you can do this, the pattern travels. Candidates against a role spec. Investors against a thesis. Customers against a renewal risk profile. Anywhere you have a vague idea of "good fit" that lives in someone's head, the agent pattern turns it into something you can actually run. Robin runs Arcgent, where he builds AI-powered workflows for sales teams every day. Now he's showing you how to run one yourself.

Turn Big Goals Into Consistent Action [9/15/2026] (Recording)

Turn Big Goals Into Consistent Action [9/15/2026] (Recording)

Big goals often stall not because we lack ambition, but because translating them into consistent action can be harder than setting the goal itself. When a goal feels far away or difficult to manage alongside day-to-day responsibilities, it’s easy to become overwhelmed, lose momentum, or spend more time planning than actually moving forward. In this session, we’ll introduce a practical framework for breaking ambitious goals into clear milestones and daily actions so you can make meaningful progress through consistency rather than pressure or perfection. We’ll cover: • Why big goals often stall after the initial excitement wears off • How to turn a big goal into clear milestones and actionable priorities • The Jar Framework for identifying the actions that matter most • How to use Good, Better, Best to stay consistent when life gets busy • Practical ways to build momentum through small, repeated action You’ll leave with a simple framework you can apply to a meaningful goal in your career or life and a clearer understanding of how to turn ambition into consistent progress. This workshop is part of a 3-part goal achievement series for ambitious professionals.

Hard GRE Quant Made Simple: 5 Patterns That Turn Intimidating Questions into Easy Ones [10/20/2026] (Recording)

Hard GRE Quant Made Simple: 5 Patterns That Turn Intimidating Questions into Easy Ones [10/20/2026] (Recording)

GRE quant questions are designed to disguise a small set of recurring tricks behind unfamiliar wording, so the same five patterns show up again and again dressed differently. This workshop walks through what those patterns actually look like on the page and how to recognize them fast enough to matter under timed conditions. After two decades of tutoring the test, the patterns worth teaching are the ones students keep missing for the same reason: not a math gap, but a failure to notice which old problem a new one is actually restating. Forty-five minutes is enough to start seeing those patterns, not enough to drill all five until they're automatic, so expect a starting point rather than a finished skill.

Build a Cold Outbound Email Agent

Build a Cold Outbound Email Agent

SESSION GUIDE: https://www.lelandcourses.com/ai-builder/cold-outbound-email-agent/ The math of cold outbound never quite works. A genuinely personalized email takes twenty minutes. A templated one gets a one percent reply rate. Either way, you're losing time. In this exclusive AI Builder session, Jonathan McLemore will walk you step by step through building a cold outbound email agent powered by Claude, one that researches every prospect on your lead list, writes a personalized first-touch email for each, and queues them up for you to review before sending. By the end of the hour you'll have a working agent ready to put to work the next morning. But the email agent is just the on-ramp. The real takeaway is the playbook: how to turn a one-off chat with AI into a repeatable system that processes an entire list the same way, every time. First outbound. Next a lead qualification agent, a customer research bot, a weekly report that writes itself. Same skill, different shape. Jonathan builds AI automations for sales teams as the founding solutions engineer at Plinko Solutions. He's done this for a living. Now he'll do it with you. Open exclusively to AI Builder Program members.

Leveraging AI for MBA Applications (while also not cheating)

Leveraging AI for MBA Applications (while also not cheating)

How can you make the most of GenAI tools to leave no stone unturned in your MBA process? What are the right and wrong ways to be leveraging AI as you build out your applications? I'll help you lower your anxiety around this topic, and help you use AI to complement your thinking on other critical questions like: - "How do I know what programs are the best fit for me?" - "How do I even go about researching my target programs?" - "How can I use it to level up my writing? What pitfalls do I need to avoid?” - "How can I map out my timeline for applying to MBAs?" - "How can I use AI to complement my live interview prep? - "How can I be sure my AI-based research is accurate?" The idea behind this session is twofold: 1) lending you tactical tips to raise the quality of your MBA applications in a world of limited time. (2) helping you think in ways that go beyond the specific questions we cover, so that you can generate plenty questions of your own. As someone who advises people on everyday-life-AI and has also worked with a handful of startup CEOs and investors on layered, complex research requiring heavy AI use, I'll help you make the most of our latest tech without compromising the integrity of your applications. I hope you leave feeling this whole MBA project is something doable, with a few AI-powered arrows in your quiver that can simplify your life as you get there. If you’re interested in 1:1 coaching, you can always drop me a line through my Leland profile. See you soon.
