This comprehensive coaching package provides personalized application guidance for two of the world's leading graduate real estate programs: MIT's Master of Science in Real Estate Development (MSRED) and Harvard Graduate School of Design's Master in Real Estate (MRE). As an alumnus of both MIT and Harvard, with more than 25 years of experience in real estate investment, development, and entrepreneurship, I bring a distinctive combination of firsthand university experience and practical industry expertise. We'll work together to identify your strongest qualifications, address potential weaknesses, and develop a compelling, authentic narrative connecting your personal experiences, academic background, professional accomplishments, and future ambitions. Although both programs offer exceptional real estate education, they have distinct academic approaches and areas of emphasis. Our work will focus on developing a coherent overall application strategy while tailoring your essays, positioning, and supporting materials to demonstrate why each program is the right fit for your goals. **This package includes 16 hours of personalized coaching**, combining live discussions, independent application reviews, written feedback, and revisions. We'll leverage overlap between the two applications where appropriate while ensuring that each receives individualized attention. I take a collaborative, flexible approach and welcome reasonable brief questions between sessions. My goal is not simply to help you polish your essays, but to help you present the strongest possible representation of who you are, what you've accomplished, and what you hope to achieve.

My path to Harvard, MIT, Wharton/Lauder, and Stanford wasn’t linear—and it certainly wasn’t perfect. A native Texan, I arrived at Harvard planning to play football—until a serious knee injury ended that path almost immediately. Overnight, the identity I had built for years disappeared, and I had to reinvent myself—academically, professionally, and personally. What changed my trajectory wasn’t raw intelligence. It was learning how to think critically, research rigorously, and communicate ideas in ways that command attention. I learned how to compete in rooms filled with extraordinary people—not by trying to be the smartest, but by being clear, disciplined, and intentional. Over the past 25+ years, I’ve built and led companies across private equity, venture capital, family offices, and digital health. I’ve raised and deployed capital, executed cross-border acquisitions across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, and served as both a C-suite executive and board member. I’ve lived and worked in Brazil, Mexico, Israel, France, and the UK, and now call Oregon home. I understand what it means to navigate elite institutions, global markets, and high-stakes environments—and to do so without following a conventional script.
