right? Are dashboard requests coming from everywhere, with unclear priority, ownership, or business value? And does the analytics function feel helpful, but too reactive to become truly strategic? This is not usually a talent problem. Often the team is capable. The tools may be workable. The business demand may be legitimate. The issue is that the operating model has not caught up with the need. Without clear ownership, definitions, intake rules, governance, and prioritization, BI teams become ticket factories. They serve the business, but they do not always help the business become more disciplined. The real question is not, “How do we get the BI team to produce faster?” The better question is: How do we create a reporting model that is trusted, prioritized, and sustainable? The BI Operating Model & Reporting Governance Sprint is designed for founders, COOs, business heads, finance leaders, operations leaders, and analytics managers whose reporting environment is useful but fragmented, reactive, or hard to govern. Across the sprint, we examine report ownership, metric definitions, request intake, prioritization, backlog flow, stakeholder responsibilities, governance habits, and the operating rhythm needed for better analytics service delivery. We look at where requests are coming from. Where definitions are inconsistent. Where dashboards are duplicated. Where ownership is unclear. And where the team needs a better way to decide what gets built, what gets fixed, and what should stop. You will walk away with a BI operating-model diagnosis, a governance and ownership gap map, a reporting prioritization framework, a request-intake rhythm, and a practical 60-day improvement plan. This is not about creating heavy governance for its own sake. It is not about slowing the business down with process. It is about reducing confusion so the right work moves faster. Because trusted reporting does not come only from better tools. It comes from clear definitions, ownership, prioritization, and habits the business can actually sustain.

Session plan • Session 1: Current BI operating model, reporting demand, and pain-point diagnosis. • Session 2: Metric definitions, ownership, quality concerns, and governance gaps. • Session 3: Request intake, prioritization, backlog flow, and stakeholder expectations. • Session 4: Operating rhythms, governance habits, and communication model. • Session 5: 60-day improvement roadmap and leadership recommendations. How I work with clients I work with clients by starting with clarity, not assumptions. Whether the challenge is a career transition, a leadership inflection point, a technology decision, or an organizational transformation, my first task is to understand what is really going on beneath the surface. Often, the visible issue is only a symptom. The real constraint may be unclear priorities, weak alignment, outdated operating rhythms, gaps in leadership identity, or decisions that have not yet been made with enough precision. My approach combines structured inquiry, real-world executive experience, and practical strategy. I do not believe in generic frameworks, motivational advice, or one-size-fits-all playbooks. Each engagement is shaped around the client’s context, goals, constraints, and stage of growth. Together, we diagnose the real pattern, challenge assumptions, surface blind spots, and translate insight into action. For individuals, that may mean strengthening leadership presence, reframing career value, or navigating the shift from technical expertise to strategic influence. For organizations, it may mean aligning leadership, clarifying decision rights, strengthening operating models, or turning transformation intent into executable movement. The work is both rigorous and human. There is strategic structure, but also space for reflection, identity shifts, trust-building, and the deeper leadership work required for lasting change. The goal is not just to create a plan. The goal is to help clients see clearly, decide wisely, and move forward with confidence.

For more than 30 years, I built my career across global organizations, including Deloitte, KPMG, Rolta, and Amazon Web Services. I built and scaled teams, led large transformation programs, and sat in rooms with senior leaders trying to make hard decisions under real pressure. From the outside, it looked like a straight line up. It wasn't. There were stretches where I felt stuck behind a title that no longer fit, moments when I had to start over, and quieter periods where I wasn't sure what "next" was supposed to mean. I rarely said any of that out loud. Most people in those rooms don't. That experience is why I started Journey Redefined. I work as a career and leadership coach for people at the turning points that matter: a promotion that stalled, a leadership role that feels heavier than expected, a pivot they can't quite name yet. I bring both sides of the table to that work, the lived experience of having led, and the discipline of structured coaching as an ICF-ACC certified coach. I'm not interested in quick fixes or advice you could find anywhere. My work is quieter than that. It's about helping you reconnect with what you're genuinely good at, make decisions you can stand behind, and define success on terms that are actually yours.
