PM Fundamentals: Key skills for an early career PM
This package is tailored to early career PMs who are looking to build their PM skillset and grow in their career. We will cover the following areas: - Overview of key skills to succeed as a newly minted PM - Focus on communication skills, both verbal and written - Setting Product Principles - Creating impactful Roadmaps - Writing great PRDs - Setting OKRs and executing on them - Strategies to collaborate with cross-functional teams - Other depending on context (escalations, running war rooms, feedback, career growth etc.)
What's included
Given the vast amount of real-estate we need to cover around prod mgmt building blocks, this will be a fairly high-level overview across a wide range of topics. We will likely need to prioritize 3-5 areas. I will have material to walk through in each session, but will look to my clients to also come with specific questions to make this more interactive and useful. We can add more hours if needed.
