PORTFOLIO OPTIMIZATION Goal: Elevate your portfolio to "top-tier hiring-manager ready" using my Story–Impact–Craft framework. PHASE 1: DEEP-DIVE PORTFOLIO REVIEW (Async) Activities: I review the portfolio twice: • First as a scanning hiring manager • Then as a design leader, looking for potential and gaps I capture timestamped/screenshot-based notes on: • Strategic positioning and business impact • Storytelling gaps and missing context • Technical depth and systems thinking • Signals of level and trajectory vs target companies (startup, enterprise, FAANG, etc.) Level of effort: 1 hour async Output: Written feedback doc with "quick wins vs deeper rewrites" and priority ranking PHASE 2: FRAMEWORK WORKING SESSION Activities: 1 hour working session to walk through feedback using your Story / Impact / Craft lens. • Live "real-time redesign" of one case study (screenshare and rewrite together) • Decide which projects to cut, merge, or elevate based on target roles • Define a repeatable structure for all case studies Level of effort: 1 hour live Output: A framework template to scale across your case studies PHASE 3: CASE STUDY IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT Activities: Client revises 1 - 2 case studies following the agreed pattern. I offer support: • 1 hour async markup on one revised case study • 1 hour call to review changes and lock in the structure and answer questions Level of effort: 2 hours Output: clearly structured and optimized case studies PHASE 4 – PORTFOLIO ROADMAP (Optional) Activities/Output: Short written roadmap outlining: • Which additional projects should be built or retired? • How to tailor the portfolio for different company types • How to keep resume, LinkedIn, portfolio, and narrative consistent Level of Effort: 1 hour Total: 5 hours at $200/hr

What Sets My Coaching Apart: Real-Time Redesign - I don't just tell you what's wrong; we can screen-share and sketch solutions live, showing you exactly how I'd reframe your case studies based on patterns that have worked for designers I've hired and promoted. Network Context - Having built teams across e-commerce (Amazon), media (ESPN/CNN), social (Twitter), and ads (YouTube), I can tell you specifically how different companies evaluate portfolios. What works at a startup won't work at Google, and vice versa. Beyond the Portfolio - With experience promoting 7+ team members and successfully re-leveling designers, I'll also cover the soft skills and positioning that make the difference between getting an offer and getting the offer you want. Post-Call Support - You'll receive a written summary of our discussion with priority fixes and long-term improvements, plus one follow-up async review of your revisions. My goal isn't just to help you fix your portfolio—it's to teach you how to think like the design leader you're trying to impress. I know you are probably wanting to update your portfolio as quickly as possible and want this engagement to be efficient and well-structured, and I will do my best to respond quickly and lead you through this process. - Keith 🚀

I am a passionate design leader with over 20 years of experience in design and more than 10 years of experience leading and building teams. My expertise is in driving O-to-1 innovation, creating intuitive design systems, and delivering impactful experiences that push boundaries while achieving business goals. Currently, I am leading the monetization, personalization, and design systems teams at OpenTable. Previously, I was Senior Director of Product Design at Travelers. I oversaw product design and research for product & platform modernization while leading strategic design initiatives for product innovation within their key Business Insurance segment. I led design for ads across YouTube's core feed, watch, search, and discover surfaces, creating horizontal experiences that support YouTube's free model through design systems, tooling, and 0-to-1 efforts that boosted viewer engagement and revenue. Before that, I directed Twitter's Design Systems team, growing a cross-disciplinary team of designers and design engineers that enhanced both revenue and consumer products. I also spearheaded product design for the ESPN app within Disney's Digital Technology Group, delivering engaging digital experiences for live sports and news. Throughout my career, I've driven digital transformations and created products for globally recognized brands including Amazon, Yahoo!, and CNN. My passion for design fuels my commitment to crafting beautiful, user-friendly experiences that exceed business goals and leverage smart technology. As a design thinker and storyteller, I measure success through impactful outcomes and seamless usability. I thrive on building diverse teams, fostering collaboration across disciplines, and championing a positive culture that drives innovation. My goal is to continuously form cross-collaborative relationships with product managers, user researchers, engineers, creative teams, and executive stakeholders to be the connective tissue and enabler for great work. More About Me I live in Connecticut with my wife, son, and two daughters. I grew up in the outdoors of beautiful Colorado and spent 15 years on the West Coast in California. You can see signs everywhere in my life, of my growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit. My diverse set of professional and life experiences helps make me a strong leader. Beyond my professional work, I served as a Member of the Board of Trustees at the Connecticut Science Center, advising on digital design, product UX, brand, and visual & motion design. This role allowed me to give back to the community while staying connected to emerging design trends and educational initiatives. I am always curious about new challenges and opportunities. I look forward to connecting and collaborating on meaningful solutions that make a difference.
