College Essay Revision Deadline Sprint - Yale Grad
Approaching an application deadline and unsure whether your essay tells your story effectively? This focused package helps you turn the draft you have into a clearer, more compelling personal statement or supplemental essay. As a Yale graduate who was also admitted to Princeton, MIT, Duke, and Johns Hopkins, I understand how challenging it can be to decide which experiences to highlight and how to connect them into a meaningful narrative. We’ll look beyond grammar to consider what your essay reveals about you, what makes it memorable, and where it could be more specific or reflective. This package covers: - Initial Strategy and Narrative Session: A 45-minute conversation about your background, application goals, and current draft. We’ll identify your strongest material and agree on priorities for revision. - Detailed Initial Review: Written feedback on your essay with actionable feedback to strengthen your story - Revision Review and Polish: A second written review of your revised draft, focusing on how effectively you’ve developed your narrative, along with clarity, flow, concision, and language. - Clarification Support: 15-minute ad-hoc live sessions as needed Scope: A personal statement or supplemental essay, one 45-minute session, and two written feedback rounds per essay. Suited for students who already have a draft. Timing: Feedback is returned within two business days per submitted draft. We’ll agree on a schedule at kickoff and complete the package within 14 days (or earlier pending application deadlines). Please message me before purchasing to confirm availability for your deadline. Additional essays, review rounds, or sessions can be arranged separately.

🎓 Yale University graduate, Class of 2025, with a B.S. in Statistics & Data Science and Economics 🏫 Admitted to Yale, Princeton, MIT, Duke, and Johns Hopkins, applying primarily with interests in biology and biomedical engineering 💼 Professional experience at top hedge funds The hardest part of an application often isn’t finding something impressive to say. It’s deciding which experiences best express who you are. Having navigated selective college admissions myself, I understand the pressure to stand out while staying true to your interests and voice. I help students brainstorm essay topics, develop their application narrative, and revise personal statements and supplemental essays. Whether you’re starting with a blank page or polishing a draft before a deadline, we’ll work together to identify meaningful stories, bring out specific details, and make each essay contribute something distinct to your application. My coaching style is collaborative, analytical, and direct. You can expect thoughtful questions, honest feedback, and clear priorities so you know what to work on next. I’ll help you look beyond grammar and ask: What does this essay reveal about you? What will a reader remember? Where could your own perspective come through more clearly? I also offer early-career coaching for students interested in fundamental investing, including résumé review, interview preparation, and stock-pitch development.
