Consultant to M7 Story Strategy Package

By Bri M.5.0· 45 reviewsHarvard & MIT Joint Admit | Social Impact for M7 MBA | Sloan, Tuck, Booth

This package is designed for consultants who want to turn their experience into a differentiated M7 application narrative, especially if they are coming from a non-MBB firm or a path that does not look perfectly traditional on paper. I used my own consulting experience from a non-MBB firm to earn multiple M7 admissions and admission to Harvard Kennedy School. In this package, I help you do the same kind of translation: identifying what is strongest in your background, clarifying the leadership and impact behind your work, and building a story that feels credible, specific, and competitive at top MBA programs. We will work through your consulting experience, career goals, school fit, leadership examples, recommender strategy, and personal story. You will also receive a structured 35+ question story packet designed to help you uncover the moments, patterns, and details that can become the foundation of your strongest application materials. This is a good fit if you have strong experience but are worried your story sounds too generic, too client-service-heavy, too technical, or too similar to other consultant applicants.

What's included

5h of coaching$170.05/hr · Live Sessions$850.25
Total$850.25

This package is designed to be structured, thoughtful, and candid. Consultants often have strong raw material, but the best application stories usually do not come from the first answer. We will start with a 35+ question story packet that helps you reflect on your consulting experience, leadership examples, goals, values, and school fit before our first session. Then we will meet for a 1-hour review session to discuss your responses, identify the strongest story material, and start shaping your application strategy. My role is to help you see what is most distinctive in your background and push you, in a supportive way, beyond the polished consultant answer. We will pressure-test what feels generic, clarify what actually sets you apart, and build a story that feels specific, credible, and competitive for M7 admissions.

  • 🧭 A defined MBA application strategy built around your consulting experience, career goals, and target schools

I am a dual-degree student at Harvard Kennedy School and MIT Sloan School of Management, and I help applicants turn their experiences into clear, compelling stories that get results. My clients have been admitted to programs at Harvard and MIT, including Harvard Kennedy School and MIT’s MSRED. Before graduate school, I worked in government consulting, advising state health agencies on Medicaid innovation and operational strategy. I also interpreted Executive Branch policy for firm leadership, helping translate complex policy decisions into actionable guidance for internal teams. Now I coach clients to secure offers and MBA sponsorships at Big 4 firms like Deloitte and Accenture, drawing on my experience in the room with decision-makers. My approach is strategic but highly personal. Many of the applicants I work with are strong (but not perfect!) on paper and unsure how to position their experiences, especially those coming from public sector, social impact, or nontraditional paths. I help them build a narrative that is both authentic and clearly differentiated. My goal is simple: to help you articulate your story in a way that makes admissions committees, and you, see just how strong it already is.
