Patrick Shannon is a dedicated commercial real estate professional with experience across acquisitions, asset management, and capital markets. He currently works on Newmark’s Capital Markets team in Los Angeles, where he primarily focuses on large-scale office transactions across the West Coast while also underwriting select retail and industrial properties. Patrick earned his B.S. in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California and his M.S. in Real Estate Finance & Investment from New York University through the Hirsh Fellows program, an accelerated honors track for top-performing real estate students. He currently serves on the University of Southern California Alumni Real Estate Network (AREN) Board. In 2023, he was also selected for the Harvard Business School Summer Venture in Management Program, joining a competitive cohort of future business leaders. Patrick has held roles with AEW Capital Management, Lincoln Property Company, and Matthews REIS, providing him with a well-rounded foundation across the commercial real estate investment lifecycle. As a coach, Patrick specializes in helping candidates: - Break into their first commercial real estate role - Master financial modeling and underwriting in Excel and ARGUS - Navigate applications to real estate–focused master’s programs - Prepare for interviews and networking with top firms
