AP STEM Tutoring: Calc AB/BC, Bio, Chem & Physics — 1-on-1 Expert Help
Unlock your full potential in AP STEM subjects with personalized, one-on-one tutoring designed to help you excel in Calculus AB/BC, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. As a physician and long-standing tutor, I bring a unique blend of academic excellence and real-world application to our sessions. My passion for teaching and deep understanding of these subjects will guide you through the complexities of your AP exams, ensuring you not only achieve high scores but also gain a profound understanding of the material. This package is built for students taking one or more AP STEM exams — Calculus AB/BC, Biology, Chemistry, or Physics 1/2 — who want a single coach to guide them from wherever they are now to a 5 on exam day. It's especially valuable for students juggling multiple AP sciences and math who want continuity, consistent study habits, and one tutor who knows how they learn. Subjects covered: 1. AP Calculus AB & BC — full CED coverage, with extra focus on related rates, optimization, FTC applications, and (BC) series convergence and Taylor/Maclaurin. 2. AP Biology — molecular & cellular biology, genetics, evolution, ecology, with emphasis on the experimental design and data-analysis FRQs that differentiate 4s from 5s. 3. AP Chemistry — stoichiometry, thermodynamics, equilibrium, kinetics, acid-base, electrochemistry, with heavy focus on reaction mechanisms and quantitative FRQs. 4. AP Physics 1 & 2 — kinematics, dynamics, energy, momentum, rotational motion, waves, circuits, thermodynamics, fluids, and modern physics, with a focus on conceptual reasoning problems that trip up strong math students. How we work together: - Session 1 is a diagnostic in your target subject(s): a targeted assessment, identification of specific weak spots, and a custom study plan aligned to your class pace and exam date. Subsequent sessions follow a repeatable structure - concept review, guided problem-solving on your weakest unit, timed FRQ/MCQ drills from released College Board exams, and next-session prep with curated homework. Students working on multiple subjects can split sessions by topic week-to-week or focus on whichever exam is most urgent. What makes this different: Teaching is a combination with lectures and practice! You solve problems live while I diagnose reasoning errors in real time - the only reliable way material sticks under exam pressure. You'll also learn to read AP scoring rubrics the way graders do, so you maximize partial credit on every FRQ. I also provide unique practice problems to ensure that you are ready for doing well in your class and in your eventual AP class!
What's included
I'm direct about weaknesses and precise with feedback. Whether you're weakest on Calc integration techniques, Chem equilibrium, Bio experimental design, or Physics free-body diagrams, we'll identify the gap and drill the underlying concept until it's automatic. Students who want a tutor to simply show them solutions aren't a fit; students who want to genuinely master the material are. Format: Live 1-on-1 video sessions on Zoom, [60] minutes each, using a shared digital whiteboard so you can see every step worked out in real time. Flexible scheduling — typically [1–2] sessions per week, ramping to [2–3] per week in the final 4 weeks before each exam. For students prepping multiple APs, we map out which weeks focus on which subject based on your exam calendar.
- Each student will walk away with an email summary of the session and also additional practice problems!
- The AP STEM Tutoring plan offers personalized, one-on-one tutoring for AP Calculus AB/BC, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, aiming to help students achieve a score of 5 on their exams.
- Unique practice problems and tailored study plans are provided to ensure students are well-prepared for both their classes and AP exams.

I am passionate about medical education and medical admissions. I started vlogging a lot of my experiences early and have taken the time to really share a lot about the medical school and residency process on YouTube. You can see a lot of my experiences here - including many videos related to pre-medical education, studying while in medical school, and of course, going through residency (https://www.youtube.com/@PrerakJuthani). I believe strongly that medicine is an incredible profession and I am lucky to get to practice it. I also have created multiple free curricula related to medical education including a series called "Intern 101" that students can watch to prepare for residency (https://stanforduniversity.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cGaBW43MAFJZ9DU). While I strive to always provide content for free, it is hard for me to meet with many students given my time constraints, but I'd love to be a small part of your journey!
