Nail Your Creative Interview
Most designers know their work. Fewer know how to talk about it. That's the difference between an interview and being hired. This package is for brand and creative designers who want to walk into their next interview feeling prepared, not just hopeful. We'll work through your portfolio together, sharpen how you present your thinking, and do mock interviews so nothing catches you off guard. What we'll work on: How to frame your work so the thinking is as clear as the visuals Presenting process, outcomes, and impact Answering behavioral questions in a way that sounds like you, not rehearsed Understanding what creative directors and hiring managers are actually looking for Building confidence in the room What you'll get: Portfolio review with honest, specific feedback Mock interview with real-time coaching Guidance on how to talk about your creative decisions Async support between sessions for follow-up questions A good fit if: You're a brand or creative designer preparing for your next role You've been told your work is strong but you're not getting offers You want honest feedback, not just encouragement
What's included
We'll meet live over video. Most sessions run 60 minutes. The first session is usually a portfolio review. I'll look at your work honestly, how you've organized it, how you're framing your thinking, and where the gaps are between what you made and what you're saying about it. From there we do mock interviews. I'll ask the kinds of questions a creative director would ask, and we'll work through your answers together until they sound like you, not a rehearsed script. Between sessions you can send me questions, updated slides, or anything you want a second set of eyes on. I'll respond within 1-2 business days.
- Strategies for articulating creative decisions and design thinking clearly.

Tousue V.
For designers who are good at design but unsure about the rest.
I've spent a decade in design, working on brands like Google, Target, Coursera, Best Buy, Optum, and Delta. I've also spent a lot of that time coaching designers on the side. My favorite moments aren't just the work itself, but the relationships built along the way. Designers navigating real decisions, figuring out who they are and where they're going. That's what matters most to me. Going through it together. I don't coach with frameworks or prescriptions. I coach around intention, reflection, and questions. Helping you slow down, identify your intention, and make decisions through thoughtful reflection.
