Two hours at $500, for applicants ready to start without an intro or sales call first. Avoid writing stories without direction. Two hours of strategy up front tells you what admissions committees look for in your specific profile, and what your material is actually worth before you build essays on it. This is the most valuable step in the process. Whatever you spend on coaching after this, the hours work harder because the direction is set. Through a 2hr strategy call, set up a winning foundation from the start of your applications, or get unstuck. We clarify what schools look for and cut weeks of research and free advice that costs you time in sorting out what applies to your specific profile. Good for applicants who are self-driven and want a strong start, and for those who are partway in and stuck. We dive deeply into your personal, professional, community and goal stories. Where you stand: strengths and weaknesses for your specific profile, including what a lower GMAT or GPA actually costs you, and how much your college matters. School selection built on feedback from hundreds of alumni across every top program (including AI classes & tools offered). Essay question breakdown and strategy based on what admissions committees look for. Your goals tested against real market trends. Pointers on writing an MBA resume, and recommender strategy for your letters. I give frank feedback and make recommendations as needed to form the best possible application. I visited 25 MBA programs, applied to HBS, Wharton, Tuck and Kellogg, and got into all of them, but not before writing a lot of aimless drafts. How much ground we cover in two hours depends on how many questions you bring, how complicated your situation is, and how fast you can take notes and apply them. You can add hours later for other areas. ***Why this costs less*** The session is identical to what I run at my standard higher hourly rate. The difference is if you sign up directly. Most applicants book a free intro call first, which is reasonable, and I run 5 to 10 of them a week. If my profile, video, and reviews already answer what that call would answer, booking directly saves me that time and saves Leland’s sales commission. I pass both back to you. Disclaimer: This rate is for direct bookings only. If you request an intro or sales call through Leland first, this package is no longer available, since the commission structure changes. If in doubt, drop me a quick DM before booking! Thank you!

I am a first-generation college grad. I was admitted to HBS, Wharton, Kellogg and Tuck from a non feeder undergrad and varied professional experience (I did not apply to Stanford because I sought more structure). Harvard's SVMP is where I first experienced the MBA classroom. When I got serious about my journey, I secured a coach then got creative. I coordinated events with admissions officers at 25 of the top MBA programs in the US to get to know them intimately. Today, I maintain an extensive network of MBAs worldwide (US M7 + INSEAD, LBS, Oxford, Cambridge) and am a part of the MLT network, keeping my finger on the pulse of current MBA students' and alumni experiences. I have worked with Stacy Blackman, a premier MBA admissions firm, since 2014, collaborating with admissions officers who recommend me. Born in Los Angeles, I have consistently challenged global norms. My childhood in Mexico City and European travels broadened my worldview, making the globe seem more accessible. These experiences sparked my passion for mentoring and collaborating with people worldwide. My pre-MBA career included positions at prestigious corporations such as Deloitte Consulting, Fannie Mae, and UBS Investment Bank in NYC. After graduating from HBS, I moved to Dubai, where I embarked on an entrepreneurial journey. There, I co-founded a real estate services company (acquired), collaborated with a sovereign wealth fund, and launched the 'Grubhub' of the Middle East. Currently based in San Francisco, I am engaged as an Independent Technology Executive implementing AI/automation, which provides continuous real-world exposure that allows me to help clients formulate their goals.
