PHASE 1 — POSITIONING (Months 1–2) Who you are, what you stand for, and how you’re perceived The foundation phase. The goal is ruthless clarity on your value proposition, your market position, and how you show up in a room. Session 1 — Executive Identity Audit Map the gap between how you see yourself and how the market sees you. Identify the narrative you’ve been running vs. the one that actually serves your next chapter. Articulate the single most powerful thing you offer that no one else in your category does. Session 2 — Value Proposition Architecture Build the three-layer proposition: what you do, how you do it differently, and why it matters now. Test it against three target audiences — boards, family offices, and technology ventures. Identify where it lands and where it leaks. Session 3 — Presence & Perception How do you command a room? How do you show up on a board call, in a first meeting, in writing? Video review of a live pitch or presentation. Feedback on verbal cadence, authority signals, and the gap between content quality and delivery impact. Session 4 — Personal Brand Audit Full audit of LinkedIn, any public-facing materials, how you’re introduced by others. Align every touchpoint to the repositioned narrative. Draft a definitive 3-sentence bio and one-paragraph summary. PHASE 2 — AMPLIFICATION (Months 3–4) Getting in front of the right people, in the right way Session 5 — Network Mapping & Prioritisation Map your existing network against your target engagement types. Identify the 20 relationships that matter most and the 10 you need to build. Create a tiered outreach strategy — warm reactivation, warm introduction, cold strategic. Session 6 — Thought Leadership Strategy In financial services and technology, visibility creates inbound. Design a minimal, high-quality content presence: one core theme, two formats (written and spoken), a 90-day publishing cadence. Not about volume — about owning a specific point of view. Session 7 — Advisory & Board Positioning The board and advisory market works differently from executive hiring. How to be considered, how to be introduced, what preparatory work signals you’re board-ready. Role-play a board interview and a first advisory conversation. Session 8 — Negotiation & Engagement Structuring How to structure advisory, NED, and consulting engagements. Scope, fees, equity, time commitment, IP. Common mistakes senior practitioners make when moving from executive to advisory roles. How to say no well. PHASE 3 — DEPLOYMENT (Months 5–6) Activating live opportunities and building sustainable momentum Session 9 — Live Opportunity Review Review any active conversations, approaches, or engagements in progress. Real-time coaching on specific situations — how to advance them, how to assess fit, how to price yourself correctly. Session 10 — Stakeholder Communication Mastery How to communicate complex technology themes to traditional finance audiences and institutional credibility to technology-native audiences. Bridging the language gap is where your positioning is won or lost. Session 11 — Decision-Making Under Ambiguity Senior advisory work involves navigating ambiguity, competing stakeholder interests, and decisions with incomplete information. Frameworks for high-stakes decision-making. How to advise with conviction when the data is thin. Session 12 — Programme Close & 12-Month Roadmap Review progress against initial audit. Consolidate what’s changed. Design the 12-month plan for sustaining momentum independently — target engagements, relationship maintenance, content cadence, and a trigger for when to re-engage coaching.
