What is included in this package? I want to help you land a job and thrive as a venture investor. With this package, I’ll coach you through each step prior to submitting your application. I know the process is overwhelming, so together we will tackle the most crucial elements and get you set up for success. Here’s what we’ll cover: - Networking Strategy: I will teach you how to find the right VC jobs and provide you with tried-and-true networking strategies to connect with hiring managers + recruiters. - Resume Review: I will provide you with my resume template which has helped many land VC roles. For up to 3 review cycles, I will help you refine your resume and ensure you are shining as a candidate. We will do a deep dive into your resume through live reviews and async comments. - Targeted Outreach: I will be extremely focused on making sure your experience is hyper-relevant to the specific organizations you’re applying for. Where there are experience gaps, I will provide you with actionable steps to ensure coverage, depending on the time you have between our coaching and application deadlines. - LinkedIn Review: I’ll provide a comprehensive review and edit of your LI profile, and provide you with suggestions for improvement. We’ll also discuss how to optimize your profile for recruiting. Glenn is a Principal on the investment team at AV Seed Fund. Before joining, he worked as an investor at Jump Capital as well as In-Q-Tel, a venture fund that represents the national intelligence community. Prior to that, Glenn served as a product strategist at LinkedIn, where he focused on the Sales Navigator platform. As an investor, Glenn has a diverse range of venture interests. These include B2B SaaS, Generative AI, Future of Work, Consumer, and Fintech. Outside of work, Glenn is an avid writer and sports enthusiast, particularly supporting the Cal Bears (go Bears!). In fact, he served as the football play-by-play announcer on Cal student radio. Glenn holds degrees from MIT, where he earned his MBA, and UC Berkeley, where he obtained a BS in Business Administration.
