Full MBA applications package for 3-5 schools ✅
After almost 2 years on Leland and dozens of happy, successfully admitted clients, I can confirm that we don't need to spend dozens of hours together (and you don't need to spend thousands of dollars!) to get ALL of your applications done for your top 3-5 schools. How many we finalize will really depend on your working style and pace of progress between sessions, but the plan is relatively straightforward: Session 1: Brainstorm your story / hone in on your career goals / finalize list of schools / agree recommender strategy [Async 30min to review your resume] Session 2: Review first drafts for school #1's longer essays, + resume Sessions ~3-5: Iteratively refine + finalize full application draft (including notes to recommenders, to be sent out as soon as we have your story ~70% nailed) Sessions 5-X: Get through 2-4 more applications! Each additional school will require less + less of my time, since you'll be building up a bank of well-articulated answers, stories, ideas, and approaches.
What's included
Typically 60min sessions, plus ~10-15min reviews of any drafts/docs you send over at least 24hours before each scheduled session (I don't charge extra for that). Alternatively, I can do "full async reviews" (charged) where I leave detailed line edits/comments, allowing you to turn around another version between calls. On calls, we'll go through my major feedback points + plan/rephrase sections together as needed. Can also do a session at the start to discuss/compare different narrative arcs before you start writing.
- At least three full b-school applications you feel 100% confident submitting, on time
- A solid "bank" of stories and well-crafted answers for future school applications
- An MBA-ready resume
- Confidence in your own candidacy and energy for the rest of the process!

English @Cambridge + MBA @Stanford = Storytelling Expert | < 10h packages!
Hi there, I'm Vica. I am a double émigrée (age 7: Russia -> UK, age 24: UK -> US -> UK -> US… visa issues 🫠), former Silicon Valley tech exec and startup founder, now loving Mountain Time life in Utah and working at eBay. I grew up poor and watched my mum make some crazy sacrifices to get us out of Russia, then out of UK council (state-provided) housing, & into a privileged life full of amazing opportunities and adventures. I studied English literature at the University of Cambridge, spent 3 years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm in London, then got into Stanford GSB on the day I turned 24 - with an 80% tuition discount / scholarship. I worked at Salesforce, directed sales at a startup, then raised $300K for my own venture from Silicon Valley angels and VCs. I moved from an F1 visa to a H-1B visa, suffered more than my share of mishaps on the US border, and know both the pros and the cons of moving to the US via a degree program intimately well. I was NOT a likely candidate for Stanford - too young, non-MBB, non-STEM, wonky GMAT (99th percentile verbal, 55th non-verbal 😆), state-schooled. Just like college and my first job, I was an underdog with low chances of success. I never used an admissions consultant myself because I could not afford one. The one I spoke to for a free 30-min consultation told me to give up hope on my dream schools... but I got into GSB and INSEAD without professional support, and proved her wrong. Why did I get in? Because I’m a strong, persuasive storyteller, incisive editor, & expert pitch-creator. With my help, it can work out for you too. You CAN do this! The only way to fail is not to try at all.
