The Sales Interview Benchmark
Description: You have applied to thirty roles and heard back from three. Or you keep getting to the hiring manager round and then silence. Before you spend money on a full coaching program, find out exactly what is breaking. In 90 minutes I will run you through the two things every SaaS sales hiring process actually screens for: your story and your live selling ability. We will do a real recruiter screen and a real mock cold call, unedited, and I will score you against the same rubric I have used to evaluate candidates and mentor 10+ BDRs into AE seats. We will then set up a 30 minute feedback call to review the deliverables and improvement plan. What you get: A live 90-minute working session (not a consultation, we do the reps) A live 30-minute feedback and review session A written Interview Readiness Scorecard rating you across 6 dimensions: story clarity, metrics credibility, discovery skill, objection handling, curiosity, and close Your three highest-leverage fixes, ranked, with what to do about each A resume flag list: the specific lines that are costing you screens Who this is for: Career changers targeting BDR/SDR roles, BDRs going for AE, and early AEs interviewing out. Who this is not for: Sales leaders, founders, or anyone hiring a team. I coach individual contributors breaking in and moving up. Outcome: You leave knowing precisely which gap is blocking you, with a written plan you can execute on your own if you want to.
What's included
This package is two live sessions, 120 minutes total, usually about a week apart. The goal is straightforward: give you a clear, measured picture of where your interview skills stand today, so you know exactly what to work on instead of guessing. Session 1 (90 minutes) is hands-on. We spend the first half on your story, meaning how you walk through your background, why sales, and why this company. The second half is a practice cold call, which tends to be the round candidates are least prepared for. It is a low-stakes setting on purpose. Almost nobody nails it the first time, and that is useful information rather than a problem. Between sessions I score your session against a six-dimension rubric built from real hiring criteria, and I read through your resume line by line. You get the written scorecard back within 48 hours, so you have time to sit with it before we talk again. Session 2 (30 minutes) is where we make sense of it together. We walk through your scores, look at how you benchmark against candidates who are landing offers, and narrow everything down to the two or three areas that will move the needle most. You leave with a written assessment and a focused plan, not a general list of interview tips. A little about how I work: I am a practicing enterprise Account Executive at Salesforce, so what I share reflects what is actually happening in sales interviews right now. I am specific and honest about what I see, but the aim is never to critique you. It is to make sure you find out here rather than in a real interview. Sessions are recorded so you can hear yourself back, which most people tell me is the single most useful part.
