HBS & GSB Mock Interview Pack, with a Current HBS Student Who Sat It
Four sessions that take you from your application to an interview you can hold under pressure. How it runs: - First, your stories. I read your application the way the interviewer will, and we build four or five anchor stories you can reuse across questions: conflict, a difficult boss, failure, persuading without authority, commitment under pressure. - Then mock interviews that get faster and harder each time. HBS is 30 minutes with an interviewer who has read your file; GSB is 45 to 60 minutes, usually with an alum, effectively blind. We run the format you face. - Each mock ends with a debrief: what landed, concise rewrites of the answers that ran long, and where you went deep on work but stayed guarded on the personal. Between sessions you run your transcripts through an LLM to find the answers that still feel weak, and we start the next session there. For HBS we also prepare the post-interview reflection. I am a current HBS student, admitted to both HBS and Stanford GSB, and I sat the HBS interview.
What's included
Four one-hour live video sessions: one story session and three timed mocks with debriefs. Usually spread over the two to three weeks before your interview. Send your application and resume at least 48 hours before the first session.
