This crash course is ideal for professionals, managers, or change agents seeking to lead effectively through uncertainty, complexity, and resistance. Whether you're facing organizational challenges or leading in high-stakes environments, this course equips you with practical tools and deep insights grounded in the Adaptive Leadership framework (Heifetz, Linsky, et al.). Here’s what’s included: Foundations Session (1 hr.): We’ll introduce the Adaptive Leadership framework, explore the difference between technical vs. adaptive challenges, and review core concepts like disequilibrium, holding environments, and authority vs. leadership. Diagnosing the System (1 hr.): Learn how to map key stakeholders, uncover hidden loyalties and values, and distinguish work avoidance behaviors from real engagement. Mobilizing Change (1 hr.): Tools and strategies for generating productive conflict, surfacing loss, and pacing the work of change without overwhelming the system. Leadership Lab: Real-Life Application (1 hr.): Bring your own leadership challenge. We’ll apply the framework to analyze it in real-time, with live coaching and group insights. Capstone Simulation + Feedback (1 hr.): A simulation-based session with a fictional or anonymized real-world scenario to demonstrate adaptive leadership in action—followed by personalized feedback and a strategy map. You’ll also receive: A workbook with core tools, reflection prompts, and case studies Written feedback and notes from each session Optional recording of your Capstone Simulation and feedback debrief
