Do you have solid BI, reporting, or analytics experience, but feel your profile still reads like a list of tools? Are you proud of the dashboards, reports, and analysis you have built, but unsure whether recruiters can see the business value behind the work? Do you know Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, stakeholder reporting, or KPI tracking - but still find it hard to explain what makes your experience different? And does it sometimes feel like you are more capable than your resume is currently able to show? This is a familiar place for many BI and analytics professionals. You may have built dashboards that leaders rely on. You may have cleaned messy data, improved reporting cycles, or helped teams understand performance better. You may have worked quietly behind the scenes to make the business more visible to itself. But careers do not move forward only because the work was useful. They move when the value of the work is understood. A resume that says what tools you used is not the same as a story that shows how you helped a business see, decide, or act better. The real question is not, “How do I make my BI experience sound more impressive?” The better question is: How do I make my real business value easier for the market to understand? The Business Intelligence Career Positioning Sprint is designed for BI analysts, reporting specialists, data analysts, dashboard developers, MIS professionals, and analytics practitioners who want their career story to reflect the value they already bring. Across the sprint, we clarify your target roles, review your current positioning, translate project experience into business outcomes, and rebuild your resume and LinkedIn narrative around credibility rather than buzzwords. We look at what your current profile is saying. What it is leaving unsaid. Where your experience is being described too technically. And how to connect your work to decisions, efficiency, visibility, revenue, cost, risk, or operational control. You will walk away with a clearer positioning diagnosis, a sharper resume direction, a stronger LinkedIn/profile narrative, a bank of business-impact stories, and a focused 30-day job-search or career-movement plan. This is not about exaggerating your experience. It is not about turning your resume into a wall of keywords. It is about helping your real contribution become easier to recognize. Because in BI and analytics, your value is not only in the dashboard you built. It is in the decisions, conversations, and clarity that dashboard made possible.

Session plan • Session 1: Career context, target roles, and current profile diagnosis. • Session 2: Project inventory, business-impact translation, and positioning gaps. • Session 3: Resume, LinkedIn/profile narrative, and accomplishment framing. • Session 4: Target-role strategy, outreach plan, and 30-day execution rhythm. How I work with clients I work with clients by starting with clarity, not assumptions. Whether the challenge is a career transition, a leadership inflection point, a technology decision, or an organizational transformation, my first task is to understand what is really going on beneath the surface. Often, the visible issue is only a symptom. The real constraint may be unclear priorities, weak alignment, outdated operating rhythms, gaps in leadership identity, or decisions that have not yet been made with enough precision. My approach combines structured inquiry, real-world executive experience, and practical strategy. I do not believe in generic frameworks, motivational advice, or one-size-fits-all playbooks. Each engagement is shaped around the client’s context, goals, constraints, and stage of growth. Together, we diagnose the real pattern, challenge assumptions, surface blind spots, and translate insight into action. For individuals, that may mean strengthening leadership presence, reframing career value, or navigating the shift from technical expertise to strategic influence. For organizations, it may mean aligning leadership, clarifying decision rights, strengthening operating models, or turning transformation intent into executable movement. The work is both rigorous and human. There is strategic structure, but also space for reflection, identity shifts, trust-building, and the deeper leadership work required for lasting change. The goal is not just to create a plan. The goal is to help clients see clearly, decide wisely, and move forward with confidence.

  • • A resume and LinkedIn narrative direction built around business outcomes, stakeholder value, and credible evidence.
  • • A project-story bank that translates dashboards, reporting, data cleanup, and analysis into business-facing accomplishments.
  • • A 30-day application and outreach plan with priority roles, profile updates, and weekly movement goals.

For more than 30 years, I built my career across global organizations, including Deloitte, KPMG, Rolta, and Amazon Web Services. I built and scaled teams, led large transformation programs, and sat in rooms with senior leaders trying to make hard decisions under real pressure. From the outside, it looked like a straight line up. It wasn't. There were stretches where I felt stuck behind a title that no longer fit, moments when I had to start over, and quieter periods where I wasn't sure what "next" was supposed to mean. I rarely said any of that out loud. Most people in those rooms don't. That experience is why I started Journey Redefined. I work as a career and leadership coach for people at the turning points that matter: a promotion that stalled, a leadership role that feels heavier than expected, a pivot they can't quite name yet. I bring both sides of the table to that work, the lived experience of having led, and the discipline of structured coaching as an ICF-ACC certified coach. I'm not interested in quick fixes or advice you could find anywhere. My work is quieter than that. It's about helping you reconnect with what you're genuinely good at, make decisions you can stand behind, and define success on terms that are actually yours.
