Most of our sessions will be live video sessions, however, there may be some times when you'll need to do a little homework in between our sessions. How much time you dedicate to that homework is up to you, but we'll keep it manageable/flexible to adapt to your availability.

After studying business and information systems at the University of Virginia, I took an unconventional first step in my career—joining the Peace Corps as a Community Economic Development Advisor in Kenya. While there, I worked with women to identify income-generating opportunities that would create long-term economic self-sufficiency for themselves and their families. Having never been outside the U.S. (aside from a day trip to Canada), this experience was truly life-changing in ways that have shaped every personal and professional decision I’ve made since. Two key realizations emerged: 1) I found immense joy in helping others navigate challenges and unlock new opportunities, and 2) I discovered a deep passion for living and working in different countries. Since then, I’ve lived, worked, and volunteered in nearly 40 countries across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. While my Swahili has mostly faded, I can still hold a conversation in Spanish and dust off my French and Italian when needed. Throughout my career, I’ve intentionally pivoted to stay aligned with my true north—helping people take the next step in their journeys. That’s what led me to Leland where I support individuals facing key career or educational decisions.
