2+2 dMBA Kickoff Essays Brainstorming & Framing Session
Avoid working for weeks without direction. Stop wondering if you are on track. I guide you on how to started on your essays and what admissions look for. If you have a limited budget for coaching, this is the MOST valuable step. -> Through a single call 1:1 we kickoff brainstorming and framing - this is where I get to know YOU deeply: 1) Strengths and weaknesses analysis for your specific profile 2) Essay question breakdown/framing based on expertise of what admissions look for 3) professional advice on formulating your goals tested against real market trends 4) impact of low GMAT/GPA lower ranked colleges; 5) Winning school selection based on feedback from hundreds of alumni from every program 6) set a timeline/deadlines. -> We tackle important questions considering what makes you different, your constraints, worries and needs, such as: -Should I wait to apply in the next year or round due to something that happened? -Is my GMAT/GRE score good enough for my top programs with my profile? -What are the best stories to use on my essays? -How do I differentiate myself as a candidate when coming from consulting/finance/tech? -Is what I am writing about relevant? -Is my professional experience enough? What do I highlight? -What if I have never led a team? -What if I only worked for a small startup or a family owned business? I hope to inspire confidence by providing frank feedback and making recommendations as needed to form the best possible application. I have been in your shoes and can empathize with wanting to put your best foot forward and get it done. At no time should you feel like unneeded services are being pushed onto you, but the areas we cover are dependent on the amount of questions, "sticky" details we need to strategize, and your ability to execute on the feedback. Some candidates need more guidance/brainstorming and that is perfectly ok, just takes more coaching. We use the time in the most effective way by hyper focusing on a single school's essays. This work will be a base for all your other essays and reduce replicating errors when trying to tackle multiple essays at once.

🎓HBS | 200+ Admits at Top MBAs | HBS mock Interview Expert
I am a first-generation college grad. I was admitted to HBS, Wharton, Kellogg and Tuck from a non feeder undergrad and varied professional experience (I did not apply to Stanford because I sought more structure). Harvard's SVMP is where I first experienced the MBA classroom. When I got serious about my journey, I secured a coach then got creative. I coordinated events with admissions officers at 25 of the top MBA programs in the US to get to know them intimately. Today, I maintain an extensive network of MBAs worldwide (US M7 + INSEAD, LBS, Oxford, Cambridge) and am a part of the MLT network, keeping my finger on the pulse of current MBA students' and alumni experiences. I have worked with Stacy Blackman, a premier MBA admissions firm, since 2014, collaborating with admissions officers who recommend me. Born in Los Angeles, I have consistently challenged global norms. My childhood in Mexico City and European travels broadened my worldview, making the globe seem more accessible. These experiences sparked my passion for mentoring and collaborating with people worldwide. My pre-MBA career included positions at prestigious corporations such as Deloitte Consulting, Fannie Mae, and UBS Investment Bank in NYC. After graduating from HBS, I moved to Dubai, where I embarked on an entrepreneurial journey. There, I co-founded a real estate services company (acquired), collaborated with a sovereign wealth fund, and launched the 'Grubhub' of the Middle East. Currently based in San Francisco, I am engaged as an Independent Technology Executive implementing AI/automation, which provides continuous real-world exposure that allows me to help clients formulate their goals.
