The Essay Intensive - Create Your Strongest Essays
Focused essay coaching for applicants who have already identified and begun applications to their target programs. This package typically includes 10-12 hours of brainstorming, drafting, feedback, and editing, tailored to each school's specific prompts and culture. You'll receive multiple rounds of detailed feedback until every essay is polished and ready to submit. Your final essays will be authentic, well-crafted, and strategically positioned to strengthen your overall candidacy.
What's included
How We'll Work Together: Availability. I am generally available Monday through Friday. I typically do not work weekends or holidays, but may be able to make exceptions as needed with advanced notice or as deadlines approach. Scheduling Sessions. Sessions are scheduled through the Leland platform. Please book at least 24 hours in advance so we can make the most of our time together. Application Material Reviews. You can expect detailed, thoughtful feedback on your essays, resume, and other application materials within 2-3 business days. For general questions through the Leland inbox, I typically respond within 24-36 hours. Meeting Frequency. The rhythm of our sessions will naturally shift throughout the process. During critical stretches leading up to deadlines we will likely meet more frequently, while other periods may allow more time for independent work between sessions. A Note on What to Expect I am committed to helping you submit the strongest possible applications. You can count on my dedicated strategic support and experienced guidance throughout the entire process as a partner who is genuinely invested in your success. I cannot guarantee admission to any specific program.

My career began in management and marketing before my MBA led me in an unexpected direction. I discovered a genuine passion for higher education and found my way into admissions, almost by accident. What started as an admissions role at Emory's Goizueta Business School grew into an independent coaching practice that I have continued to build and invest in ever since. My role on the admissions committee at Emory shaped what I had come to love about this work. Reading application files, conducting interviews, and participating in admissions decisions gave me a perspective that continues to inform the work I do as a coach. I understand the admissions process from both sides, and I use that perspective to help each client build applications that highlight their strengths, readiness, and fit for every program on their list. The MBA application is one of the more significant things a person will do for themselves. It requires you to be honest about where you have been, intentional about where you are going, and confident enough to send it out into the world. Working with clients going through the MBA application process is genuinely meaningful, and the trust my clients place in me is something I don't take lightly. The clients I work with are driven, goal-oriented people who are ready to commit to a strong application and want an experienced partner in their corner, but no two are the same. Some come to me with a clear vision and just need help executing it. Others are earlier in the journey and need help seeing what is possible and uncovering what is already there.
