Hi there! My name is Maria Curry, and I'm a recent graduate from Harvard Business School. Prior to HBS, I graduated from the dual-degree Huntsman Program at the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton & the College), where I studied Finance and International Studies, with a minor in Spanish. After undergrad, I worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and later in growth equity as an investor in the tech sector. I did a lot of research into which MBA programs I wanted to apply to and why. When applying, I carefully crafted a strategy centered around acing the GMAT exam and applying early to my top schools. In the end, I was able to get through the admissions process by getting admitted early into my top school, and in the end, I only had to apply to 3 programs. I was able to navigate this process with a great degree of optimization and I think a lot of that was because I had a clear vision for why I wanted to do my MBA and what I wanted to get out of it. Because I took the time to reflect on my story, I was able to put my best foot forward in my applications and experience great success. I'll now be matriculating to an M7 program this year.
