As a Chartered Engineer with a diverse background spanning project management in the Offshore Wind Sector, technical research in Hydrogen integration with offshore wind, and strategic leadership roles in renewable energy, I bring a wealth of expertise to my coaching practice. I have in depth experience in coaching and mentoring, specifically in the MBA admissions space. I've gone through the process myself with huge success, I've coached prospective students through private coaching, as part of corporate coaching programs, and in support of the HBS admissions process. The reason I think I stand out and have found success as a coach is because I work hard to gain a true understanding of the applicant; to understand their motivations, values, drivers, strengths, and weaknesses. All of that is critical to craft a strong application for elite schools, but maybe more importantly it is critical to provide you the best support that I can. I’ve worked with operators, investors, and founders across different stages of their careers, including many who have used an MBA to pivot, accelerate, or reposition themselves. I completed my MBA at UC Berkeley, and more importantly, I’ve seen how the degree actually plays out in the real world. In my career across private equity, venture building, and now advising founder-led businesses, I’ve seen what the MBA unlocks and where it falls short if not approached intentionally. Getting into a program is only part of the equation. The real value comes from how you position your story, choose the right program, and use the experience to create opportunities on the other side. I work with candidates on both admission strategy and how to think beyond it, so you are not just getting in, but setting yourself up for the outcomes you actually want after graduation.

Many candidates applying to INSEAD, London Business School, Oxford and Cambridge are doing so with one clear goal: to move into consulting. Yet that is also where many applications quietly become generic. Admissions committees have read thousands of versions of: “I want to transition into strategy consulting.” They can tell very quickly whether you genuinely understand the career you are describing, whether the goal makes sense given your background, and whether your story is credible. I bring a perspective that most admissions coaches cannot. As a Bain manager and interviewer, I spent years evaluating candidates and deciding who was ready to join the firm. Today, as an INSEAD alumni interviewer, I sit on the admissions side of that same journey. That means I can help you with two things in particular. Most recently I was Director of Admissions at Imperial College Business School, and prior to that I was Head of MBA Recruitment and Admissions at Cambridge Judge Business School. I was accepted and matriculated to Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business after 2 years of management consulting and 4 years working at Starbucks Coffee Company in Corporate Strategy and R&D and Innovation. I went to business school to explore startups and a role in the technology industry. I am now a Senior Product Manager at Intuit. I have advised 10+ individuals on school selection, application, and career strategy. There is lots of noise on the MBA application process and lots of a bad advice. What matters most (besides meeting or coming close to basic GPA, GMAT, and experience requirements) is that you tell your story in an authentic way and help admissions officers understand why you will help them I have been a career switcher and deeply enjoy helping others navigate MBA Programs and career path formation.
