Dozie was a principal and a venture partner at the venture capital arm of George Kaiser Family Foundation. He was also a vice president at Red Arts Capital, a senior associate at Madison Dearborn Partners, a consultant at Boston Consulting Group and an associate at General Electric. He is also on the board of directors of A Red Orchid Theatre. He was on the board of directors of The Printing Museum. Dozie earned a bachelor of science, magna cum laude, in electrical engineering from the honors college of University of Mississippi, a master of supply chain management from Pennsylvania State University, a master of public policy from University of Cambridge as a Gates Cambridge Scholar, and a master of business administration from Harvard Business School.

I earned my MBA from Harvard Business School and have helped applicants gain admission to programs including HBS and Stanford GSB, along with other highly selective graduate programs. My background spans Deloitte, education and venture leadership, Harvard research, startups, nonprofits, and AI-enabled operations. That range is particularly useful for applicants with unconventional backgrounds, complex career histories, or ambitious pivots. I understand how to translate varied experiences into a credible professional direction without flattening the person into a generic MBA candidate.

I help candidates navigate the MBA journey end to end because I have personally gone through every stage of it and understand how tightly admissions decisions and post-MBA outcomes are linked. From GMAT strategy and school selection to regional trade-offs, cost-benefit analysis, scholarships, networking, interviews and final admit decisions, I have built and executed this process myself across US, European, and Indian business schools. I did not treat the MBA as a checkbox. I approached it as a strategic investment and designed my application and career plan accordingly. Since 2021, I have coached 18 candidates who have gone on to top-20 business schools. I work with clients to define their long-term career direction, shape a credible narrative and position them as candidates who know why they are pursuing an MBA and what they plan to do with it. I got into Wharton with a GMAT of 710 and TOEFL of 106, both well below the school's average. I also received scholarship and fellowship offers from NYU Stern and Michigan Ross. My test scores didn't define my application. What stood out was my unique story: diverse career pivots across functions and markets, a niche in entrepreneurship, design thinking, and EdTech, and a track record of doing things others thought impossible (like publishing two books before ever working in corporate). I leaned into what made me different, not what made me "the same best" as everyone else. That's the biggest mistake I see applicants make: trying to fit into what they think MBA programs want. But admissions committees aren't looking for the "best" candidate. They're looking for a diverse class of unique individuals. Your job isn't to be perfect. It's to be distinctly you. I pursued a dual degree, MBA and Master's in Education, at Penn because I'm genuinely passionate about empowering others. That same passion drives my coaching today.
