Dozie was a principal and a venture partner at the venture capital arm of George Kaiser Family Foundation. He was also a vice president at Red Arts Capital, a senior associate at Madison Dearborn Partners, a consultant at Boston Consulting Group and an associate at General Electric. He is also on the board of directors of A Red Orchid Theatre. He was on the board of directors of The Printing Museum. Dozie earned a bachelor of science, magna cum laude, in electrical engineering from the honors college of University of Mississippi, a master of supply chain management from Pennsylvania State University, a master of public policy from University of Cambridge as a Gates Cambridge Scholar, and a master of business administration from Harvard Business School.

I'm an MIT grad and current MBA student at Columbia Business School, but more importantly, I've spent years evaluating what makes candidates truly stand out. My background in buy-side equity research at firms like T. I applied to a broad range of top programs and was admitted to every school I applied to (4 M7 and 10 T15), despite having a sub-par undergraduate GPA and a non-traditional background. Now, I’ve been on both sides of the process. Most recently, I served on the Chicago Booth Admissions Committee, where I reviewed 100s of applications, interviewed candidates, and saw firsthand how this are evaluated internally (NOTE: It’s a far more structured and methodical process than most applicants realize!) I work selectively with motivated applicants who want honest, direct feedback and a clear strategy from someone who has navigated the process successfully and understands how decisions are actually made.

I got into Wharton with a GMAT of 710 and TOEFL of 106, both well below the school's average. I also received scholarship and fellowship offers from NYU Stern and Michigan Ross. My test scores didn't define my application. What stood out was my unique story: diverse career pivots across functions and markets, a niche in entrepreneurship, design thinking, and EdTech, and a track record of doing things others thought impossible (like publishing two books before ever working in corporate). I leaned into what made me different, not what made me "the same best" as everyone else. That's the biggest mistake I see applicants make: trying to fit into what they think MBA programs want. But admissions committees aren't looking for the "best" candidate. They're looking for a diverse class of unique individuals. Your job isn't to be perfect. It's to be distinctly you. I pursued a dual degree, MBA and Master's in Education, at Penn because I'm genuinely passionate about empowering others. That same passion drives my coaching today. I also know what it feels like to work with big-name consultants who don't remember your story and give generic advice. My approach is different. I offer personalized support and help you uncover and articulate what makes you stand out. As a JD/MBA student at Michigan Ross, I bring experience across law, finance, entrepreneurship, and international business, including working with private equity firms in New York and projects across Botswana, Colombia, China, and India.
