About the event

Summer Associate positions are incredible opportunities. And spots at top firms are limited so that the best possible summer experience can be fostered. A summer position is a trial run, an opportunity for you to get to know Bain, BCG, McKinsey. An opportunity for us to get to know you. It's a path to a full-time offer and the absolute best way for you to assess what a career at an MBB is really all about. Preparation for this opportunity is key. You need a compelling resume, a solid understanding of the firm and its candidate evaluation approach, and, if selected for an interview, you need to bring skill and confidence into that room. The best way to prepare for this process to put yourself in the shoes of your client - that's the Partner sitting across from you and deciding whether you're right and ready for one of the few summer spots available. I'm happy to share my perspectives on what I look for in a resume and what I look for when I meet, chat, interview anyone looking to work at Bain. As you approach recruiting season and prepare to submit an application for consideration, I think it's helpful to know what your audience is looking for. Let's chat if this is perspective that you think could be helpful to you! I'll be highlighting the key things I look for at each stage of the vetting process. And please bring Your questions! The intention here is to give you some perspective to integrate into your preparation and focus your efforts so you can be as effective, prepared, and as confident - and as competitive as possible! I look forward to sharing the view from the other side with you ;) and answering your questions!
