System Design Interviews: Think Like an Interviewer
About the event
A system design interview gives you an open-ended problem. How do you turn it into a clear discussion of requirements, architecture, and trade-offs? Join Rohit Jain, a former Amazon and Square engineer and interviewer, for a free, practical session on approaching system design interviews. Rohit has coached more than 100 people and co-created System Design Masterclass with the Sweet Codey team. We'll cover: • Clarifying requirements and defining the scope before drawing an architecture. • Breaking a system into components and reasoning about scalability and reliability. • Explaining trade-offs and communicating your decisions to an interviewer. • Applying the framework to one worked example, followed by live Q&A. This 60-minute session is for software engineers preparing for system design interviews or looking for a more structured approach. Bring your questions; no advance preparation is required. This is independent coaching, not an official Amazon or Square event.
