Grounded & Clear: Mindful Coaching for Meaningful Change [10/14/2026] (Recording)
Is there a decision, transition, or part of everyday life you want to approach differently? Join Gloria C. Anglón, NBC-HWC, for a 30-minute preview of mindful coaching for meaningful change. Explore four capacities: Pause, Notice, Relate, and Respond. Together, we’ll consider what matters within you and around you, including your strengths, relationships, pressures, and circumstances. Through a practical example, a brief optional mindfulness practice, and private reflection, explore what support or response might fit your life. That could mean taking a step, setting a boundary, asking for help, making room for connection or joy, or allowing more time. Leave with reflection questions you can revisit in everyday life. No meditation experience is needed. Practices can be adapted, paused, or skipped; sharing is optional. You do not need to leave with everything figured out. This educational preview includes time for general questions. It is not individualized coaching, therapy, or crisis support.

Beyond Prestige: Choosing a Master’s or PhD That Fits Your Goals & Life [10/28/2026] (Recording)
Getting admitted matters. So does understanding the education—and the life—you are choosing. Whether you’re weighing a master’s against a PhD or already know which degree you want, this interactive livestream will help you look beyond rankings and consider what graduate study needs to make possible for you. You’ll explore how to: • Clarify why graduate school, why this degree, and why now. • Compare programs through curriculum or research, mentoring and relationships, intellectual community, cost and funding, and life context. • Identify important questions and tradeoffs before finalizing a program list or making a decision. We’ll also distinguish what deserves particular attention in professional master’s, research-oriented master’s, and PhD pathways. Led by Gloria C. Anglón, drawing on more than 20 years in higher education, including work at MIT, Harvard, and the University of Maryland. You’ll leave with practical questions and greater confidence in your ability to make a thoughtful graduate-school decision.
