I started teaching LSAT classes and tutoring students one-on-one in 2009 part-time while working at a law firm, and quickly found that I loved it much more than my regular job. In 2016, the opportunity came to start teaching the LSAT full-time, and I haven't looked back since. I teach classes, tutor/coach, lead small group seminars, and answer student questions about the LSAT in various online communities. I'm passionate about my students' success. When a concept "clicks" for a student, that makes my day!

We do not. There are so many factors influencing an individual performance on test day (sleep, stress, nutrition, hydration, logistics, etc.) that we feel that score guarantees only add to students’ stress, increase pressure on test day, and diminish the many factors that affect test day performance. We have seen many of our past students earn top scores, many 170+, and feel confident that our bootcamp provides the necessary materials and instruction for all of our students to achieve their target score.
In our experience, asynchronous test prep services can be challenging for students in several ways. 1, there is less accountability; a live bootcamp solves that issue by creating a class environment (sessions together, a slack channel, etc.), and providing structure for students. 2, there are fewer opportunities to ask questions to instructors in asynchronous courses; a live bootcamp alleviates this through the fact that its live sessions are designed for immediate instruction, Q+A, and feedback. With session recordings sent out after the fact and full access to thousands of practice questions and content, Leland’s bootcamp balances the benefits of a live, in-person class and an asynchronous test prep service.
