About Mitchell
I'm a dedicated coach and higher education professional with over a decade of experience guiding people through transformative moments in their careers and education journeys. Most recently at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, I supported over 200 Executive MBA students from around the world—creating impactful experiences, leading with empathy, and ensuring that every detail aligned with their goals and growth. Before Booth, I honed my craft at Seattle University and Loyola University Chicago, where I focused on leadership development, student support, and operational strategy. Whether managing large budgets, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, or responding to crises with calm and care, my goal has always been the same: help people succeed with confidence and clarity. Coaching, to me, is a natural extension of that purpose. I bring the same heart and strategic mindset to working with aspiring MBA students—helping them tell their stories powerfully, navigate their options, and pursue the future they envision. Outside of work, I love to travel, am an advid home cook, and a lifelong Chicago sports fan. I’m fluent in Italian and deeply inspired by the richness of Italian culture. I live with my amazing wife and two pets, Indie (our dog) and Logan (our cat). I believe in leading with authenticity, listening generously, and always finding room to grow. He/Him/His.
Why do I coach?
I was inspired to begin coaching because giving back has always felt like a true calling for me. Throughout my own journey, I’ve gathered valuable experiences and now I’m passionate about using them to support others as they navigate theirs. I believe deeply in the power of stories, and I’m especially energized by the chance to help people shape and own their narratives, wherever their path may lead.
