About Alex
Hi there! I'm Alex -- welcome to my profile. Oldest of five with full "oldest child" energy (if you know, you know), I grew up in sunny Irvine, CA and fell in love with neuroscience in high school. After publishing 10+ research articles in college, I swapped the lab coat for healthcare technology looking to make a bigger impact. Since then, I've worn a ton of hats: implementation lead, Chief of Staff, business operations & strategy, and venture capital associate. The last five years have been a crash course in scaling companies, solving messy problems, and leading teams. Most recently, I survived the MBA application process (I know...it's a lot) and landed at Kellogg where I am attending school alongside my husband, who is also a student. If you are looking for someone who has navigated big career pivots, high-stakes applications, or rapid growth at a a company -- I would love to help you do the same.
Why do I coach?
Back in college, I was offered a two-year "bootcamp" to learn how to conduct electroencephalogram research (yes, those funny nets on your head). I worried it would be too much work, but my dad reminded me, "Anything worth doing is going to be a lot of work. That advice -- and countless nudges from mentors, friends, and coaches -- shaped my path: trying new fields, pivoting careers, and applying to business school. I coach because I want to be that voice for others -- the supporter, strategist, and cheerleader I was lucky to have. Let's reach your biggest goals together.
