Greetings! I'm Alyssa, an MBA-MA graduate from The Wharton School (dual degree in International Studies with the Lauder Institute) and a former Manager at Bain & Company. I pride myself on having a strong background in both numbers and words—I graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with degrees in History and Economics, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. At Bain & Company, I spent several years working on strategic projects for Fortune 500 clients across a diverse set of industries, sharpening my analytical skills and working on high-stakes problem solving. In addition to my consulting experience, my academic journey at Wharton and the Lauder Institute has equipped me with a deep understanding of global business strategy, cross-cultural communication, and leadership. I have supported Admissions interviews for candidates in to the Chicago Booth part-time MBA program so I have a strong sense of what it takes to gain successful admission. During my application process, I only considered 2 part-time programs (Booth & Kellogg) and was able to attain admission to both. In addition, I TA'd Negotiations courses at Booth so I have significant experience negotiating offers and scholarships. I'm a Stanford GSB MBA graduate, with a wealth of experience in product management and leadership from top companies like Amazon and LendingClub. I've successfully guided clients to admission at Stanford Graduate School of Business, Harvard Business School and Wharton. I love mentoring and coaching students and applicants - I regularly volunteer my time with the Berkeley Haas entrepreneurship program by providing course content, speaking opportunities, mentorship hours, and coaching. I also regularly support incoming MBA and MPH students with application review, interview prep, and more. While at Haas, I worked with the MBA & MPH admissions committees for a year and picked up a bunch of tips and tricks to hack the process! I graduated from Harvard Business School and have 10+ years of coaching experience. I have helped numerous clients get into Harvard, Stanford, Wharton and M7 as well as land jobs in banking & investing. I previously worked for the University of Michigan career center helping students apply for investment banking jobs and have reviewed hundreds of resumes, cover letters and mock interviews. I have also spent many years working with non-profits such as Synergist to mentor college women interested in business and finance and Minds Matter to help first-generation high school students apply to college. I take a hands-on approach and strive to help every one of my clients reflect their best true potential.
