Justin has been one of the most impactful mentors I’ve had throughout medical school. He got me started in research and honestly taught me everything I know—from how to come up with project ideas to actually executing and publishing them. Beyond research, he’s been a consistent source of guidance over my first three years of med school, helping me think through career decisions, make the right connections, and build a strong CV. He has also been an invaluable resource in helping me achieve my goals academically, and I have always been able to count on him for study advice. He really goes out of his way to invest in his mentees and make sure they’re set up for success. He’s also just very easy to talk to, which made a big difference during prep. It never felt overly intense or intimidating. You can just think out loud, get honest feedback, and improve from there. Jeff was incredibly helpful in helping me decide between HBS and GSB for business school.
